Welcome to a healing place ...

Deciding to get help is a healthy first step toward creating a better life. I create a supportive environment designed to put you at ease so that you can get what you need out of therapy and grow a better relationship with yourself and others.  I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma and sex addiction to couples counseling and beyond.

If you’re wondering how you get caught in dysfunctional relationships or why you act in unhealthy ways, now is the time to do something about it.  When you enter therapy, we will clarify what you are looking for and identify behavioral practices that will begin you on a new path of growth. I will teach you to pay attention to the present moment. Pema Chodron, the Buddhist monk, writes, “This very moment is the perfect teacher.”  How much are you on auto-pilot going about your day?  Today, life is busy, distracting, and often fragmented. Therapy can be a haven to just Be, and a time to put everything in perspective.

Humans are social beings – the way we grow and change is in relationship to other people. It is very hard to change when one is isolated and shut down. The same is true for relationships. The heart of the problem when two people are stuck is their focus on the other person’s faults and all the ways they would like that person to change their bad behavior. It is next to impossible to change another person. Really, the only person you have control over is yourself. What are you willing to do in order to have a more loving relationship?

It was through my work with individuals and couples that experienced childhood trauma that I began to see people looking for help with different types of addictions. I can help, if you are having issues with problematic sexual behaviors or are the partner of someone struggling with sex addiction. Please go to the individual treatment pages to read more about how I can help.

I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. My approach is tailored to fit your needs, and I'll work with you to achieve the personal growth you are striving for.

"We are generally afraid to become
that which we glimpse in our most perfect moments."
